Would be helpfull if we could change the report type (or did I've overseen something) on the fly.

Currently if we create a QQ and select the report type, we can't change the type, we have to create a new QQ

Hi Markus,

Currently you can 'copy' a query from one type to another (example: Pie to bar) then change query specification if necessary.

Hi Stephane,

thanks for your Reply.

Yes, but so much as I saw you have to save the Query, no?

But the idea is to use the same QQ and don't save additional versions.

Or did I oversee something?

Markus,

You are correct.

When you "save as" an existing query, a new copy is made.

We will analyze the idea of having a "replace" feature as well.

Thanks !

I fully agree with Markus, the usual user experience expects to change the data representation on the fly without the hassle of copying the query just to get another representation of the same data.
